Elon Musk on The Future of SpaceX – July 19, 2017

At the 2017 ISS R&D Conference Elon Musk was interviewed by NASA’s ISS program manager Kirk Shireman about the current activities and future plans of SpaceX. The Elon Musk discussed the achievements SpaceX has made since the last ISS conference in 2015. Musk talked about SpaceX’s breakthrough of successfully conducting a controlled landing of the first stage of their Falcon 9 rocket. Musk said that SpaceX is planning to land the second stage of the Falcon 9 soon as well.

Musk also briefly spoke about his concerns about the existential risk caused by the exponential speed of artificial intelligence progress.
